It looks like one because the Durango was based off of the Benz ML class suv before Daimler kicked them out.

 

 

all newer cars look the same...every mid sized car and SUV has the same damn body styles now same basic shapes and body lines, they are all bulkier than ever...its ridiculous. Nothing is original or unique anymore with new cars and trucks.

 

^^ That's why I said the Benz (apparently) looked like a new Durango, from the side.
