All we get down here are daily updates of what George Zimmerman had for lunch.

yes they had a bad period. However this phone has been out for a while. And is one of the highest reviewed phones out there. I was just tired of iPhones. <br />

I love the customization that android gives you

I would have to agree, but I was given an iPhone when my Droid finally crapped out, so I can't complain. My next one will be an android if I have any say in it. I will give it to the iPhone in the battery department though. It puts all other smartphones I have experience with to shame, with how quickly it charges and how long it holds a charge.

I had a droid before, yes the customization with all the wigits and different screen rotation things are endless. Plus many more apps seem to be available. However, it comes at a cost: battery and start up times.....I got a company issued iphone and it is much simpler, starts up in about 30 seconds and the battery life is amazing. I can see positives and negatives with either one. One true negative for me is you have to have the itunes thing on the computer to get new things like ringtones, screensavers, etc. I still have not figured out exactly how that sync thing works. You can't download a lot of things besides apps and games directly from the app store. It's all personal preference. Personally, after having both, I dont think I would go back to a droid.

I just got this pbone yesterday so I really don't know l how this battery will hold up. but with both the old 4,4s, and 5, after about 6 months the thing woukdnt hold a charge worth a dang. yes it charges fast but I was having to charge it fully at least twice a day. And I am not a heavy user. It just discharged in my pocket.

As said there are pros and cons with both. Ask me again in 6 months

This thing has some awesome speakers though

Had 3 4th gen iPods go bad on me. Battery and then the main button.

Got an Iphone 4s recently since it's a lot easier to use than android. I made sure to get the 2 year apple care on it since I have bad luck. Had it less than a year and it's already slowing down on me... And I have to charge it every night and alittle throughout the day I have it plugged into my truck to charge while I listen to music.

Smartphone batteries really seem to lose it all when the phone is in/out of signal.

My GS3 battery will hold up all day in normal usage and in service. Roaming eats up the battery..
