well I got the tires changed, and I must say that is the best 650 bucks I have ever spent!! Rides like a completely different truck now just as I had hoped!!! It feels kinda weird to be cruisin along at 110-120 and not getting shook outta the damned seat haha.... Those old tires where about 85% of the problems with the truck, just some swaybar links and pads and rotors now and I think it'd be pretty good handling wise.

I'll get a couple pics up in a bit, just got home but gotta run back out the door to take the kiddos to my mom for the night

Well I just came in from getting my mail, and to my elation there are 2 gift cards from Irving Oil good for a total of 100 bucks worth of Supreme fuel!! Free tank of gas for the ol girl, and it's the good stuff! lol

Ok a little backstory:
Irving discovered recently that their plus and supreme gas was not up to snuff, it was a lower octane than what it's supposed to be or something.... Basically when people were filling up with plus or supreme, they weren't really getting what they thought they were. So they started this rebate program on their website, it was a form that had to be printed off and mailed to them. So of course I print off about 10 of them haha, I filled one out for my truck and the Hyundai, making sure to note that it's a 360 V8 lol, my wife did one for her Blazer, and my buddy did one for his vehicles, and I gave a couple out to other buddies.

Well weeks went by and no sign of the cards, so we kinda brushed it off as not happenin. Then on Friday the wife got a card for 10 bucks, I just laughed about that.... Then today I get mine, and it's for 90 bucks! So yeah, free tank of supreme for me!

edit: why isn't this thread STICKIED anymore? I had to go back about 4 pages to dig it up :s

Ok now I know that dodges have problems with our dashes falling apart and getting cracks and mine had/has that problem but, we dont have it as bad as chevy owners.... these pictures are of the dash of my friends 07 or 08 chevy 1500, 2 cracks on 2 different sides of the dash nothing stays on the dash except for a sunpass and it rarely goes off the paven road, pretty sh^tty for chevy

I am always amazed at how sh1tty Chevy's stuff is when it come to their trucks.
1500 Z71.....yeah.....265/65/18 tires, and 3 or 4 less inches of ground clearance than my old 4x4.....thats STOCK.
Suck it Chevy.

The only thing that truck has that I want....factory tow hooks.

This is the reason why we took the old out, this is the new front axle dana 44 from a dodge, being put into place and aligned right to be bolted in the swap has been pretty easy, 3 of us working on it together I had to leave for school so they are gonna finish the front and start on the back so far not much more than 5 hours into it for these pictures, oh yea the axle springs and stuff came off a already built bronco and it cleared 40's so thats what were going for.
