The Official 2nd Gen RAM Forum OT thread

Try reading the Plenum Thread or all of the WTF Thread, you'll want hours back after that.
I know we have an Off Topic Section here on DF, but it's kinda nice having a thread right in the 2nd Gen Section for all the talking we do....

I once had a similar problem in that my driveway alignment was skewed by the Hall effect of the glaze on my apple fritter, which was exaggerated by a solar flare of unusual magnitude, but instead of a DeSoto it was a ferret, misidentified as a marmot, in the bathtub. The ferret was obviously not a golfer.
It's all pretty simple if you take the time to think about and understand it. It's like three phase power, though, in that most of the people who use it have no real appreciation for the role of the square root of three or the musical precision of Steely Dan.

Well of course it did. DeSotos need lathe and plaster, not sheetrock. And the earlier models require square nails to prevent fouling the power factor of the old tube type radios, which run best when the inductor L4 in the tuned tank of the intermediate amplifier is tuned to somewhere south of Des Moines, Iowa.
