Just picked up a new .30-06. I'm pretty excited. I went with a Browning A-bolt Hunter, solid walnut stock, 3-9x40 scope, Crazy Horse leather sling. I got it to replace my 1898 .30-40 Krag, which is just getting too valuble to be taking out into the field anymore. My only complaint is why in the hell does Browning have to put a high gloss finish on their stocks. That's stupid for a hunting rifle.

 

I wouldnt mind having a GMC Syclone or Typhoon. The Typhoon would have to be the 2nd one in Radar Blue (Purple). Sorry, I'm partial to trucks!

 

some 400 grit sand paper would take care of that, it should dull it without leaving gouges.

 

My god wont this **** ever end ? i was laid off from direct tv in july of last year, and i got laid off from comcast today, they laid off 30 of us. "saying we'll call you in 6months, you still have job's" ....

ya man i got laid off from hy-vee and they told me they dont need as many assistant managers running the store and put me down to part time so i quit because i lost my pay and benefits, i feel your pain

thats bullsh!t though...im in the same boat, i got injured from work and they filled my position. i was working 60+ hours a week, and getting the overtime for over 40 hrs. but with my dughter i watch her while her mother goes to work, and thats monday tuesday, thursday, and friday. and with her hours i cant be a mechanic...(which is my absolute passion)...im going to be forced to look into fast food.....so i understand where your comming from.
