I used some harbor freight tractor lights as backup lights

backup light switch doesn't work in my truck anyway, but those lights are wired into the backup lights, so I bought a connector at napa and wired up a switch to the connector, and unplugged factory backup light switch on the trans and plugged it into the new connector that goes to the dash switch.

works great for eff'ing with people that tailgate you

No and No. And I'm not sure about checking their plenums!

They belong to the ranch. They brought in about 100 of them. Some about a week old I think

crazy chit. I read that as fast as I read anything else with no issues. Only word that threw me off is the lack of a space between mind and does. Maybe I'll pay more attention to spelling now when reviewing stuff from my employees...

Default Mystery of the Knocking Engine!

So I believe I have finally solved the mystery of the Knocking Engine - the oil pump pickup tube has been coming in contact with the crank, leaving a visible wear point on the tube where the crank came in contact. No damage done to the crank, so I am gonna grab a new oil pump and pickup tube tomorrow. Should fix it! Then I'll be calling a friend over to help me put the trans in the rest of the way
