After my tax returns I'm thinking on getting some things for my truck. One question tho, if I get 1.7's now can I use them on a 360 I plan on rebuilding next year in auto class?

Why is it that when buy a 12pk of beer I end up not being in the drinking mood, yet when I get a 6pk I wanna drink and everyone else in the house wants a beer too?

Sure can, just keep in mind the rocker ratio you are planning on using when selecting a cam for the new motor.

Thanks, I just wasn't sure if the wear on them was that big of a deal when they'll be swapped out.

Has anyone else noticed that Wal-Mart is now selling car parts?

In store or online?

Either way, they have to make up for all that money they're going to lose once they run out of ammo to sell.

Not sure. Walked into the store a few days ago and saw their new sign advertising auto parts, name brand parts too.

I'd guess online.

Even if they are "name-brand" I wouldn't trust them. Wal-mart has a habit of taking a "name-brand" part that looks the same but making it cheaper, sometimes with even the same part number. So I avoid Wal-Mart parts.

I think that would put them in a bad position if the parts went bad and resulted in accidents, deaths, or injuries.
