you used a wrench to take off a new filter you had just put on??

lol how tight are you putting those oil filters on?!?!

you only need to turn them about 1/2 to 3/4 turn past where the gasket touches the filter base...

I have always been able to get my trucks oil filters off by hand. no need to over tighten... holds up to 60+psi oil pressure without any leaks

I do have to pull off the air filter to change the filter though >.< twins kinda blocked it in haha.

I sure do. The stupid pig sits so high it's just a PITA reaching up it and getting a grip. I do turn it right about that amount you say. I watch for it to leak. Run the engine and check it again. The WIX housing is just so thin.... I've compressed it with just my hand. So it's not overtightened.

So youz guyz just quit it.
