you used a wrench to take off a new filter you had just put on??
lol how tight are you putting those oil filters on?!?!
you only need to turn them about 1/2 to 3/4 turn past where the gasket touches the filter base...
I have always been able to get my trucks oil filters off by hand. no need to over tighten... holds up to 60+psi oil pressure without any leaks
I do have to pull off the air filter to change the filter though >.< twins kinda blocked it in haha.

The filter becomes perfectly spherical, makes an interesting POP sound, and oil goes everywhere.
