your 76 should have no issue spinning tires with that big engine and i would not be surprised if you had 3.55 gears. i just got the little 318 and i am almost certain i have 3.23 gear since the truck was a standard at one point in time.

yup...got my work laptop next to my work desktop. work desktop has spyware on it though to allow the boss to check in on us since we all work from home...however! my work laptop does not

So I can screw around on the work laptop since it has no spyware.

and I do

but it also gets used for when I am on call on the weekends, or need to make a trip to the datacenter to work on one of the servers or network equipment...

My truck supposedly has 4.10 gears per another member. I forget his handle...

Surprised the boss hasn't locked down on your using your laptop at the office.

we don't have an office anymore...we all work from home...work desktop and laptop both at home. :P

that's why we have a datacenter with our servers in them.

He's not putting his spyware crap on my work laptop either. He's under the impression that me and the other IT guy rarely use our laptops so he doesn't see the need to monitor them lol. all our hours get tracked on the desktops anyway.

i would hate to take your 76 on any long highway drives. those 4.10's would kill your gas mileage.

The 76 won't go on long highway drives. That's what my dad's 02 is for and my 98 if necessary. lol

I'll do a burnout video for ya in the near future.

i like having the option of taking my truck on long highway runs. you almost need a overdrive transmission with those 4.10 gears or a lot larger tire.

may almost want to hit the junkyard first and get some crappy rims and tires to do the burnout with. no point in ruining perfectly good tires when you can get cheap ones at the junkyard for almost nothing.

Tires on the rear right now aren't that great. And the extent of my burnout is getting it up to stall, letting off the brake and flooring it. lol

Makes a nice spin with the 1 tire fire.

And the truck DOES need an OD transmission. Wish it had a 4 speed.
