Miles per gallon- What are you getting?
2001 dodge Ram
5.2 V8
Dual Exaust (from cat-back)
I was doing on average 90-100 MPH on I-65 coming back home to Nashville. Running 93 octane, averaged 17 MPG (which was very shocking). Driving around Nashville I get around 12-15 MPG. Not too bad. Soon to get CAI and Hypertech Programmer.

Casper:
My 2005 Neon SXT automatic that I bought in October has gone from 24 mpg to 25.8 mpg over 5,000 miles, but it's still winter in Buffalo. I'll let you know what I'm getting once summer comes. My numbers are dead-***** accurate as I fill it to the door every time, which is something I wish everyone who posts on this subject would do. Otherwise it's all guesswork.

I'm not shocked. I rented a 98 Intrepid in Jan '98 and drove it from Buffalo to NYC and back, going 70-75 on the way and 80-105 on the way back, (mostly before dawn on a Sunday with clear weather and no traffic like I had on the way there) and I averaged 25 mpg.... WHAT A CAR THAT WAS!!! LOVED IT!!! The room, the performance, the handling.... WOW!!! I think I set a record for the trip back. We left at 5, had breakfast in Elmira, and were back in Buffalo shortly before noon!!! I cut through Pennsylvania both ways, stayed off the NY Thruway. I don't recommend anyone trying to duplicate what I did unless you have a clean license and nerves of steel! Listen to the old guy, he knows!!!

Hehe I would do it bill!!! I usually drive like a granny because of the gas mileage i get, but man i tell ya, coming back from spring break in Panama city beach last week (Which btw , is my hometown, still have family there, and I hate every bit of spring break (only because its more like ****-FEST and ive seen it all plenty of times)) i was ready to get back home, in my own bed, with my own woman... But yes, what shouldve been an 8 hour trip was made in a little under 6 hours, of course i also left at 5:30 am on a saturday so I didnt catch any rush hour in montgomery
.
Yeah I admit, I was pedal to the floor mostly the instant i got on the interstate =D, but only because I've got this nice 400 dollar radar detector and know where the cops hide along the interstate in AL.

I have an 8 liter, v10. I only get about 9 or 10 mpg... It sucks! I need to find some modifications to help with my gas mileage. 35 gallon tank, filling up at least once a week... Kind of sucks!
1998 Ram Quad cab 4x4, 5.9v8, auto,3.92 gears. I get 14-15 back and forth to work 25 miles one way mostly level, but a couple of towns and a heavy right foot. Mods supertuner, 89 octane highflow cat 3 inch flowmaster cat back, airraid fipk and tb spacer, jacobs ultra team ignition, synthetic lubes in everything front to back. Soft tonneau, yes it helps 1 mpg. I also run heavy load range E lt245/75r16 tires. On the highway it will get 16 mpg, I think the gears hold it back at 70mph.
I was haulin a pretty good sized load of lumber on an 18 foot trailer up a 10% grade for 4 miles in WV....average up the hills was about 2 mpg in low 1 with the pedal to the floor.....engine temp actually crept up above 210 on the hills too. Talk about some major haulage.....did it with the 5.9L 360 with auto trans. in a 2001 quad cab.
