Miles per gallon- What are you getting?
I have a 1995 Ram 1500 5.2L w/ 5-speed, I used to see anywhere from 18-20 mpg on the highway (I live in West Texas and the wind can effect a lot). I recently put some 265/75 Nittos and the best mpg I have seen since then is between 16-17. City driving is 12-14. The only modification is a K&N Filter. It has a camper shell too, which should help out aerodynamics.
i run with the o/d off cause inPA its all up and down. I get around 12mpg, plus im heavy on the foot @ takeoff. I put straight pipes from the cat back and got a little more mpgs, with the added extra noise.
MSD ignition parts, the rest stock..................14.5 mi/gl

I finally completed my mini overhaul. Fixed the intake plenum, changed out timing chain, water pump, new O rings on injectors, new cap, rotor, plugs and my current city milage is at 13.5 to 15mpg. Have only had it on the highway once since completing but was pulling a 16' trailer with 2 4 wheelers on it and a bed full of camping gear. Averaged around 12mpg. Either way, since the repairs the truck runs great and the milage is up about 2-3mpg from before. Jeff.
I have a 98 Ram 1500 4X4 ( see sig). Best MPG 13.5. I would get more with a Flex-A-Lite electric fan, JBA headers and exhaust, TB and intake.
