Miles per gallon- What are you getting?
I fueled up this morning. This last tank I averaged 14mpg. That is with VERY controlled driving-no cruise and keeping my foot out of the go pedal. I added the K&N CAI last year and noticed an immediate 2mpg increase, increased throttle response and a killer WHOOSH when you rev it. However, the other side of that is I'm getting plenty of air in, but am not getting it out. The nextlogical step is exhaust. The question is true duals or a one-into-two with a Flowmaster and freer flowing cat? Any input will be appreciated. How about a TB spacer or a new TB? I've seen several references to a Fastman TB. That's my next research thread. And one more thing, How about a programmer? I know they are better on diesel than a gasser, but is the expense justified? Lemme know brothers and sisters. Let's not kid ourselves, a 360 c.i. 4x4 is NOT ever gonna be a gas sipper, but we can have fun trying. . . .
my dad has a 01 reg cab 318 5sp 3.23 gears that he uses to go to work and gets around 16or17 when it gets on the highway and stretches its legs ive calculated almost 20 has a k/n filter and a flowmaster 40 series and a turndown

The one qand only time I've ever checked, I was getting a whopping 10.77 something.... trucks in sig, and I beat the hell out of it. I'm not kidding, this thging gets absolutely abused. IDK about you other guys, but every single time I drive it, I stuff it to the floor and kick it dwn hard at least ten times
