Default Time for shocks......Need advice

SO my ride has been gettin pretty rough latly, I'm gunna slap on some new shocks.

Lookin for the best bang for the buck. Also, total tard of a question, but I THINK my truck has a lift on it? I bough it like it is and was told that it was lifted, I sits a bit higher then a stocker. Anyways, How do I know what length of shock to buy if I'm not 100% positive on my exact lift height?

Input is really appreciated. Thanks guys!

Yeah, what is in my sig is what I was told and what I believe but I'm not 100% positive that that is true (I didn't do the lift myself).

the dealer told you that? haha had a brain fart... i would go with the 3" lift shocks if you think its that the only way to check it out is to find out the factory approach/departure height and then measure it with a tape measurer to the frame to see how much of a difference there is

I put Rancho RS5000s on my truck when I did a 2.5" lift. These things are rock hard, not a very comfortable ride. I haven't tried anything else, maybe this is just how my truck is supposed to ride, but I would not recommend them.

Bilsteins are almost as good ride as the eddies at half the price. I've run both and if money were not a concern, I'd go back to the eddies, but I have better things to spend my cheese on.

On my 2wd long bed, the fronts wear out twice as fast at the backs. I think it's due to the longer wheel base pushing engine, tranny, and driver weight over the front more than the back.

It might help if you find out what shocks are currently on your truck... Then you'd know if you need shocks for the ''lift'' You have to be longer..By knowing what shocks are on there now. Simple and easy.
