Ya know, I never did understand why all truck manufacturers put crappy tires on stock. I like to see Nitto or BFG's as factory options...that would b a nice change...

Its all about money my friend. Why should Dodge have pay extra for those tires when, well, the consumer can. Id just be happy enough to have the truck and not bitch about the tires, theres no need too in my opinion.
It IS true about the money, but in the last few years, they have stepped up their game. Take the power wagon for example... Those come with BFG all terrains. The Ford Raptor? BFG All Terrains. Not the best tire in the world, but it does beat out Good Year Wranglers by a long shot.
You'll also see the HDs starting to come with General tires. As good or bad as you may feel about them, they are OK. They just tend to wear quickly.
Also, I've found that if you do "upgraded" wheels from a dealer on the purchase of a new vehicle, they usually throw in tires for the wheels. GM threw in Bridgestone Alenzas on our 2008 Avie when we bought it since we were dropping some coin on the wheels.
