While I got your attention.

Brakes. Standard is 1 POT brakes? Can I put a 2 POT's on there for better braking?

Also it looks like I dont have ABS brakes, is this normal? I keep seeing things online for ABS for my year of truck.
you have rear abs..stock the full abs was optional....Although my rear abs has never worked that I noticed...not sure about the 2 POT's

Some states allow you to marry your cousin too....still not a very bright thing to do?
My bubby is a cop in atlanta and he tells me the horror stories all the time about the accidents caused by lack of state inspection there and unsafe wrecks on the road.

You wont believe this, but the freakn dipstick tube is blocked with dirt or something, so now I have to take it off and clean it out before I can put the stick in

Mine is difficult to get in all the way as well... Seems there is a bend somewhere down there, that if you don't hold your face just right, the stick won't go down the tube.... I have to hold mine so that the handle is horizontal, and the words are right side up..... and then kinda cram it past the restriction..... Some day, I may actually take the trouble to see if I can't alter that, and make it less of a chore to put the damn thing back in.

No, I dont mean is hard to get it, there is a physical blockage about an inch from the top. Im half way tempted just to throw a drill bit down there to loosen it, but I crap will just fall down.

Good looking project truck. Can you pull the dipstick tube out to clear the blockage? Or just get the tube and stick from the wreckers.
We have safety inspections here but only if the vehicle changes owners, or you get pulled over by the OPP. Just today during a safety blitz the police pulled over a over loaded pu. Driver had 1.5 tons on a Ranger pu. Another case a tandem dump truck (not a Dodge) didn't have working brakes and it had 20 tons of dirt in it! Yah, safety is over rated.

Well, from what I researched, You have to undo 1 bolt at the top for the dip stick tube and then drop the pan or pull the tube out of the pan. I think pulling the tube out of the pan might be easier, but if its not a bolted in, I may just drop the pan, but if I do, I will have to get a gasket, either way it sucks. If I just clear the blockage, more dirt may just drop down there.

On the other hand, I think I might get away with a 30 cal rifle bore cleaner or a 45 acp bore cleaner, put on the end of a drill and just clean the tube all the way down to the pan. I should have enough extension rods which are fairly flexible to do the job.

For those who are not into guns, it looks like this.
