Looks like a fun project, what are your plans for it once its up and driving with no problems
Well The reason I got the truck in the first place was because I needed a truck. I built a deck on the back of the house, but I havent finished the railing. I was getting tired of asking my friends if I could borrow their truck or if they could take me to home depot. Once it became apparent I could take my Mrs Step dads truck, I had it towed over. Basically its going to be my drive to home depot and maybe the gun range truck. I just wanted something I could haul stuff in without being a pain to anybody else. I believe I can do it with this truck, plus, I'm basically getting it for free, so what I put into it is what its costing me.

That may be, but I doubt it with a 2wd truck, it needs studs in the tires and maybe a 4x4 swap But thats OK, thats why I have my Subaru

Looks like it will be a great truck after its road ready and running good! If you decide to go for the Factory air cleaner/housing I have one for sale in the classifieds sections. Includes the tube that comes off the fender, the main filter housing, screw clamp, and new rubber seal from dodge dealer. Everything you need to bolt up no problem and they are in excellent condition. Asking $50 plus shipping. If interested, just drop me a PM.

Welcome to the Forum and good luck with getting her going!

Small Update:

Got the title today so that was good. Going to hold of on tags for a bit since I wont be driving it on the road anytime soon.

Went to the Local Dodge dealership, ordered the dipstick, funny how the price went up, now its $20

Went to the local tire discounters, ask if they sold lug nuts, they did, then he gave me a complete set of 20 for free! I love those guys.

Found the air box pieces and now that is all back in place, found more damage

1 Radiator support looks to have been hit
2 Radiator itself has some goo or silicon all the way down one side, might have to just replace it.

I think its time to keep cleaning that engine bay, I started on one side and it looks a heck of a lot better, I need to hit it with my shop back.
More Pictures tomorrow.

cool update. if the radiator is bein held up i say it works fine lol. you should go to walmart they have a DIY tire fix kit. its a plug, but its somethin to do to those tires if ya can. first you ought to air them up and see how long they hold air. they may just be flat, it does happen :/. or get a lot of that green slime stuff and put it in there. i did that for 1000 miles untill i just got all new tires. coulda gone longer

I didnt even think of that. The back tire went back down again so I'll get a can of that green goo tire repair thing today.

Im loosing water in the radiator, not sure where yet. After I clean up the Engine bay, I'll fill it up and see if it starts leaking somewhere.

These are the tires I was thinking of getting too.

Nice work done so far! I like the tire you picked out. Not too agressive but looks like it could get the job done. Keep up the good work!

i like those tires. i may look into em cause im winding down to need some. but i was thinkin of puttin mud grips in the back, and a/ts in the front. but i dont wanna mix match brands.. but if your gonna buy tires for the extra vehicle, to me it makes way more sence to go to treadwright.com. they are good tires, look up the "guinee pig" thread on them
