thanks guys ! im really happy with the viper cowl, i like the black piece in the middle than just have the regualr cowl, because of the the black and silver scheme i have going on.

Cool. Thanks. I was kinda hoping they would have made provisions for sealing the air cleaner housing to the underside of the hood in some fashion. (like the good old 60's versions. )

Should keep things cooler in there at the very least though.

blue neons in the grille for when i go into wal mart or something at night ill turn it on

on a side note of your hood which looks f****n amazing by the way..... do you have any pics of the blue neon shining through the grille? ive been considering some red in my grille but didnt want it to look ricey or anything so i havent done it yet

Hood looks great, good job on it!
Gives it some real attitude now!!

Open 14" or the Ramairbox, there is only one filter to use IMHO
K&N #E1650 14x3", otherwise your wasting your time/money

so maybe the reason it felt like i lost low end is because of the paper filter that was on there? it did feel like top end was better but my 4x4 isnt a race truck i rather have more low end lol

Holy crap that looks awesome dude! What is the rise on that cowl? I need a new hood for my dodge so my options have been

cowl induction (not the viper style just straight up cowl induction)
regular hood with hood scoops (like my truck has right now)

I can't afford a twin scoop hood right now, just won't happen. so its one of those two. I think the normal cowl hoods have a 2'' rise.

Hood looks great on your truck, that truck sure has turned out nice.
