You don't necessarily have a locker. Both tires will spin with an open differential if they lose traction at the same time and happen to keep the same amount of resistance between them and the road until the end of the burnout.

I'll tell you what. Rear locker can be fun. But it eats your rear tires. Mine chiprs them all the time and its getting annoying.

Sometimes when it lockes up and your going around the corner you better be belted in if not your going across the cab. Its not a lot of fun.

Only thing the locker is doing is causing me a lot more money in tire wear and another 100 more than the truetrac!

The guy at randys told me that his dually has a detroit in the rear and his tires wear out a lot sooner than before he got it. Now i'm glad I went with truetrac instead.

I went through tires more rapidly with the Detroit Locker on my Jeep, and I've never known anyone who had the Detroit claim any different.

I don't know you tell me. I ain't no expert on these just yet.
As Sheriff420 said, you don't need to be locked to do that. And how do you know for sure that you have a locker in? Have you personally pulled the diff cover off and looked in there? If you do have one, what makes you think it is time for a better one? Sorry, it just sounds kinda retarded to me IMO

What I see here is a mathmatical equation.

Imaturity x testosterone/ common sense x 0 - torque + skinny tires x no rear end weight.
The solution is a number between 16 & 25, with a remainder of whatever the county judge charges for squealing tires and reckless driving.

I AM old enough to be your father...and I have done the same stupit ****e you have. But now you have been forewarned, and I'm sorry to tell you that when you can do that with a set of REAL hot rod tires, that MIGHT impress me.
However, at that point you have spent enough money on your truck you will treat it much differently than you do now. At least I treat mone different.

But I have almost came close to dying. If I wouldnt have had my seatbelt when I rolled the Hemi, I definitely wouldnt be here right now. It really showed me how precious life is. A real eye opener.

Remeber this kids... Seat belts save lifes!

...had one of those 'near death' experiences as well...but mine had nothing to do with a vehicle. If I have to be honest...I never wear my seatbelt....in my truck that is. Heard of people dying because of seatbelt strangulation in an accident...just saying. I do firmly believe seatbelts save more lives than not, just wanna make a point I guess. I wear one when some else is driving or if I am in car, but thats it...
