i do every day back an forth from the town house to farm house. Its about a 10min ride, only 5 miles away, i make the trip 3-5 times a day, so i'd say about 25 miles a day, 175 miles per week on average maybe...

I was thinking the same thing, i might wanna get a 5.7L Hemi, and get a dana 40 for the front an make it a 4x4, and get a dana 60 in the rear. Idk, just my thoughts. But it would be a nice swap to get a 5.7L Hemi.

You'd be better off jacking up the radiator cap and putting a new truck under it.

Youre better off buying a 3rd gen Hemi instead of spending the money...

Im tempted to get one again, or an 02 CTD if I can.

I use mine as a DD as well, I plan to drive it til the drivetrain takes a dump, and then put a whole new one in it. I love this thing too much, I don't get the same enjoyment driving other vehicles.

Oh, hell, you could ****** a Detroit 8V92 and a 13-speed RoadRanger out of an old highway tractor and make them fit, for various definitions of "fit", but that doesn't mean it would make good sense. You'd blow away every CTD there is, and a few folks might think you're the coolest thing since the electric lamp, but it'd still be plain silliness.

Your truck, your time, your money. Live like you want to live as long as no one else is harmed by it. That's my motto.

Quoted for the truth! I've driven just about every single domestic car in the market, including the Viper, Challenger, Charger, Camaro, Mustang, and all three of the HD diesel lines... While all of them are "fun" I still prefer my 14 year old truck over any of them when I'm cruising.
