Betty is my DD. Used to take her out of state alot with the last construction company I worked for. I trust her to take me anywhere in the states with no probs. But now I work for myself locally so the mileage varies. I hope to see another reliable 5 years of service before I rebuild the truck, or sell it.

Mine's my daily driver, to the extent I have a daily driver. I work from home so my commute is measured in steps rather than miles. I fill the gas tank about every five to six weeks when it gets down to 1/4.

I have to use mine as one since it is my only vehicle. But 30 miles a day 5 days a week? Soo thats what, 150 miles plus say 50 other miles you drive? Youll probably have to fill up every week. Atleast I had to when I was puttin 200+ on my truck.

yeah about evrey5-6 days im a BIG lead foot lol

i agree with bigslick, i like my truck way to much to sell it , prob just save for a new 360 longblock mild or 408 longblocks run 5000-12 depending on how built you want it and rebuild the tranny and get new rear end 4.10s

I've had full size, 4x4 trucks since before I got my drivers license and I'm 43 now. Thankfully a large portion of that time I've had a second vehicle or a company vehicle to use. Always got the former Mrs. Hammer a new Grand Cherokee every 3-4 years as well, so anyplace we went together the GC was used.
Only exception was after I sold my business and moved (to try to keep the Mrs. who hated living in rural Georgia happy) and then got divorced anyway, I only had my truck the first year after I bought it.
After racking up just shy of 20,000 miles that first year, I said "F*CK THIS" and bought my own damn Grand Cherokee. Five years later I am only right around 48,000 miles total on my truck...

Unless I need to tow, I take my truck. Have keys to the Avie, 93, and the 2004 Ford anytime I want to drive them, but if it's just to drive or running errands, I take mine. It's setup the way I want, I have gotten to the point where I feel the limits of my truck in terms of corner speed and braking where in the others I have to relearn.

Besides, who wants to be seen in a Ford or a purple Chevy?

When I'm working off site and going to school, it's between 60 and 80 miles a day, so yea the miles pile on quick.
