Default noob intro

Hey whats up im Josh from wisconsin. I've been on here for a bit, but just recently started trying to get active in the forum's. I have a 2000 dodge ram sport 5.9L Its my second dodge. I used to have a '88 dakota 3.9 5speed. I loved that truck and decided id never steer away from mopar! I have a few pics of the ram on here, haven't had too much extra money for accessory's as i work as a fireman/emt. Basically all Ive done is halo projector headights, kicker sound system, rain guards, skull hitch plug (remnant of the old dakota), and i have a smoke led 3'rd brake light on order.

In the near future i hope to add a black bull bar, 2.5" leveling kit, tool box, and i thought it would look really cool to do the bottom of the doors/rear fender with black diamond plate (i have the typical dodge door rust)

Looking forward to talking with yall

-Josh-

What bull bar did you get and where did you get it from? My brother in law has had a hard time finding one that fits the sport bumper.

Two upgrades worth looking at that are right at a few hundred bucks are Harland sharp 1.7 roller rockers and a Fastman throttle body.

i think carolina hoods.com or something ... cant remember, good mods to start out with is cutting a the stock muffler off and replacing it with better flow and the 14x3 that is like 30 bucks at advance auto

I haven't bought the bull bar yet but the one im looking at is from ebay, i contacted them and they say it will fit the sport model ram 1500.

sheriff, i saw the DIY on the new rockers it looked light a fun project. Any idea on hp increase from install of rockers or after market throttle body? I heard that i'll see probably around 15hp increase from the tb, but no idea about the rockers.

Lastrights, i looked underneath and i have a cherry bomb muffler on there. It has a nice throaty sound to it, how do the ones from advanced sound?

Also thinking about a cold air intake, i'd probably go with a K&N because i've never heard anything bad about them. Anyone have a diff brand that works well with the 5.9?
