Oops! I forgot to mention that the box in the pic is from my old truck that was silver and I swapped it over after sandblasting and spraying it black.

 

That's the way I'm going, too.

When I'm done, if there's any chrome left it'll be the toolbox latches and the center caps of the wheels. I'm still tossed up about those two things, but the rest will definitely be black on green.

 

Not going to disagree with ya. Black may have looked better with the polished toolbox goes nicely with my heavily chromed accented truck. Plus I only paid $75 for the box and it is very nice condition besides the fact that it was heavily oxidized from never being polished in 6 yrs.
