Very nice. You could always talk the price down.
That reminds me of a funny story...
My uncle went to a Toyota dealership (yep, Toyota. He's even from California and loves Mac computers haha). He wanted a Toyota Tacoma. He knew exactly what he wanted, so he called the dealership just about every day during whatever sale they had to find if they had a Tacoma in blue. Once they told him the blue WASN'T in stock, he went to the dealership. He told the dealer he wants a new Tacoma in blue. The dealer said, "here's all the Tacomas we have, but we won't have blue in stock for awhile." Eventually they found a dark gray one. The dealer said, "I know it's not blue like you wanted, so I'm going to give you a discount." Then my uncle said "I dunno, it's not blue.." After that he reduced the price another four or five times or so, and each time my uncle would go "um, it's still not blue..." And then he finally got the price he wanted, he took the deal, and said "I really love that gray!" haha; He got it wayy cheaper than what the sale price was; but I forget what it ended up getting down to.
Sorry for the long story, I just think it's funny as hell. Especially when it's a Toyota dealership, since some of those guys are just crazy with sales.

i may be old fashion buy my old man always ALWAYS told me to stay away from the first year or two of a new motor so they get the bugs worked out but thats just me. And **** if i was gonna spend 15000 grand on a truck it would be a very nice second gen cummins or 99-03 superduty with the 7.3

that price is INSANE. 80K miles. for CLOTH seats.
No way. 9500 is the MAX I would pay.
You should get close to the TRADE IN price of that vehicle. Always go by the trade in price. Assume they cut some guys throat when he traded it in.
1-2000 over trade in is a good deal. After that, it just depends on how bad you want it.
The 3rd party price of my 2001 (fully loaded, original purchase price was $42,635..he had the paperwork) was 14,600. That is what my bank was willing to give me. i paid 10K AND it still had a FULL warranty through March 2011 or 98,XXX miles. I talked the PO down from 11,500 but I could have gotten it for a few hundred cheaper. I just really wanted the truck. No problems from it, except the power steering pump went out and the transfer case cracked. Only cost me 200 in deductibles.
I would pay 1200 if it came with a warranty.

If you could get him to come down to 13G that would be a fair deal
I would take a solid 2nd gen Cummins over a 3rd gen hemi anyday of the year!
