So me and my buddy raced. I was in my 1995 ram 4x4 318 which has 230,000 on it with a strait pip exhaust. He was driving a 1996 ford f 150 302 2wd reg cab. It has 110,000 on it, 235s tires, high flow cat and dual exhaust. He jumped me off the line cause i spun but by like 15 i passed him and slowly pulled away from him all the way the 90. I finished bout 2 lengths in front. He was pissed ha
Well school started and i havent been on the computer latley. I have been all over ny going to 4x4 events. Im in a mud club now, born mudders 4x4. but im back ha
I don't know how you all can spin your tires so easily, I mean I always just figured everyone had to power brake but if the O P was racing he probably just floored it from a stop. I have less miles, a 360, good tune up and plenum repair and I can't brake them loose. I do have the trac lock though.... tires are 235/85/16's load range e and about 25% tread. no evidence of the death flash. HUH!?
Damn Seabass202, my old tires were 245/75 and from a stop I could leave marks about 5 foot long, both strips with the stock lsd, my new 285's just kinda spin for a quick bit and leave no marks, but Im 2wd cant see it making that much a difference
thanks for the further verification redheadhunter. I think ill check compression. anyway don't wanna hijack here...congrats on y"alls trucks running so good!!
