Damn.

I find myself in need of headlights.... both sides. The adjusters are broken, so when driving at night, it looks like I am looking for nickels on the roadway...... even with the high beams on.......

Question, what's the spindle lock nut torque supposed to be?

Specs say 195 ft/lb, reason I ask is because when I torque it to that, the rotor doesn't spin at all, is that how it's supposed to be??

Two wheel drive, with bearings separate from the rotor? Then, you turn them finger tight, spin the rotor, tighten the nut some more, until you can no longer turn the nut by hand, then, I usually give it another quarter turn, and stick the cotter key in there.

If you have torqued it to 195ft/lbs..... I would replace the bearings and races.

Last weekend I torqued to about 120 and it spun some, the way you're telling me seems about right because the first time I took the lock nut off, it pretty much was fingertight, seems scary but I'll trust you with my life

x2 on heyyou, cotter pin keeps you from losing any parts so make sure you use a new one too

Can't find any dust caps, I need new ones!

The ones from the old rotors fit the new rotors a bit loose
