Had an emergency, Ram got me there..But have questions about a blinky light on dash.
Do you just live for forum arguments or what?? I wanna know what your deal is, and why is it a problem for me to go that speed in MY truck? Please tell me, cause last time i checked its my life Not yours.
Because its smart to turn off O/D under WOT.... And hey if you think the only reason to turn off O/D is while towing. Good for you!
Emergency was my granddad was having chest pains and at that age you never know, i was worried ok...So i guess i shouldnt have been going that fast cause we all know that life is not important right? Wow, next time you have something happen, be sure to remember that its not ok to exceed the speed limit. The ''ANGER'' or whatever in this post was not directed to the guy that asked what the emergency was, only to the child trouble maker we have here.

Aww snap, you mad.
Sorry to hear about your gramps, hope he's alright. And for the record, if your gramps is still in the realm of the living, that probably doesn't make you old enough to call anyone "child."

Well there are reasons for speed limits, so that you don't kill the other drivers on the road. I'm sorry, but I'm a firefighter who's seen lots of terrible, terrible car accidents. Every time we get called I get the same adrenaline rush that you get when you hear your grand-dad is having chest pains. I wanna get right to the scene to help as fast as I can. However, I have to keep in mind that there are other people on the road and I put their lives at risk whenever I go through an intersection, cross the yellow line, or speed, whether the law allows me to do so or not. Yes I can speed in my fire engine, but do I? No. Because doing so would be irresponsible and dangerous. I know you were only thinking of your grand-dad's health and I do feel for you as I myself have a grandfather in poor health. But that does not excuse you or I from endangering the lives of other people on the road. I'm sorry, but that's reality.
That's all I'm going to say about the issue. The question has been answered so there is no need for this thread to continue.

It was 2:00 AM Roads were dead. Only thing i could have hit would be a deer, I was on the outskirts of the city and there were only acouple of houses and just about nothing but woods and fields. Im not stupid, if there were tons of cars and people i would not have been as ''careless''. The only life i put in danger would have been me or any animal that may cross the road. And for the record...My granddad is 81..
I have no idea why this thread changed so much to a Driving class and strayed so far from my question. Makes no sense...
