Yeah, I know I don't belong here, but I like to check up once and a while to learn from all the old farts like yourself 
... theres a good chance I will own a 2nd gen again someday anyway.As far as max and purpl go, man have times changed... must be exam week or something. Those two would flood every single thread on the board for the last few years... now ya poke a little fun at them and almost a week later they still haven't poked back. You got that plow connected and pushing snow yet, max?

If I wasn't for my lovely wife, our 15 month old boy and the new house, I would be all over a cummins... but I simply couldn't afford/justify one. It is unbelievable how much more that motor costs.

Saw a rather nice one for sale in my area for 2300 bucks.... and about filled my pants. Swapped a few emails with the seller..... SCAM!!!!!! The truck is supposedly in a shipping container somewhere, and if i put the money in a 'protected account' she would have it shipped here so I could 'check it out'.

Haahahaha, the ol craigslist scams. They always stick out like sore thumbs because they ask a few grand for a 15 thousand dollar vehicle... yet they still somehow sucker in the suckers.
But, the price of those cummins are stupidly wrong. A good example: I purchased my 2006 3/4 ton quad cab Hemi with 67k miles for $16,700. The same truck but with a diesel is anywhere from $25,000 to $30,000. Thats roughly 7-12 thousand dollars for the cummins... thats just stupid. To get the price for the same truck (but with a diesel) down in the high teens, it will have 200k miles on it... thats just stupid. Sure, the motors will last forever and a month, but the rest of the truck will be junk by then.
