Brought the truck out on the beach in the Outer Banks this past weekend when my future grandmother-in-law. Couple pictures to follow.

 

Hey, you were just a couple hours from me.
Looks like your tires are plenty wide enough for the sand, how did the truck do?

 

Yea, we were in Kill Devil Hills... beach access right next to our hotel. We go down there a few times a year. Truck did decent I suppose, had a very hard time making it back off the beach due to soft sand but nothing a locker and not mud terrain tires wouldn't fix. We were happy with it. I wanted to go again, but my fiance was afraid to get stuck...

Yea, we aired down before going onto the beach, then aired down even more once we kept digging trying to get out. Finally made it because he just decided to gun it til we made it or we screwed up my transmission worse...

Thanks, only cosmetic thing for that truck is gonna be done today or Sunday, it's restoring my headlights.

Yep pretty much. Being behind the camera let's me keep my distance from his grandmother. I think there was a whopping 3 pictures of me taken this weekend.

 

At least you had some fun though, right?

 

Yep I got what I wanted out of the weekend. Sand on and in and under my truck.
