Default what's the difference

between a 1996 1500 sport and a standard ram 1500. I smashed in the front end and trying to locate parts, they all say "will not fit sport"?

yes a painted bumper, fog lights, but headlights? I can not find a listing for 96 sport headlights, so what is so different? turn signal lights are supposed be different also.

On the 96, there are no differences in the headlights. The bumper is painted, but, aside from that, it is exactly like its chrome brethren.

The color is the only difference. The standard is Chrome, Sports are body color.

On a 96 sport, just get the black paintable parts and then get them painted if your trying to fix it without having to paint you can pick up the chrome replacements

Juat a fyi almost all things that say DO NOT FIT SPORT MODELS will not apply to you since this is related to the 99-01 sports that have a different frontend

i thought sport headlights had a port for low beam, and one for high beam vs. the standard ram that has one bulb for high and low beam....

Starting in 98, (I think) that is true. But, for the 94-97, headlights are the same as the standard RAM.
