Trip up the mountain (vid)
We took a trip up the mountain this week to play in the snow. Not much footage of the Dodge since I was driving it...Oh well.

I really like that Chevy. Looks to be in good condition for how old it is. But I love that Ford even more! Your exhaust sounds nice too. Beautiful county out there.
Remember to put something in the middle of that strap to weigh it down if it snaps. You dont want that thing snapping and smacking you and teaching you a lesson.

My buddy just finished redoing that old Chevy last summer. It has a built 454, and more than enough power to boil those 36s at will. That was actually the reason he was stuck so bad. All that power snapped his front drive shaft loose.
I have a 4" lift and 35" tires on my Dodge, and that old Ford makes it look like a cute little baby truck.

That takes me back. Burned out the trans in my blazer in a snow pit that looked just like that, minus all but ONE vehicle. Cept, I'm sure I was a bit east of where you guys were, just north of Jeffry City at Beaver Rim.
There wasn't actually as much snow up there as this video makes it look like, but this flat area gets a lot of wind and makes for some monster drifts. One of the guys that helped pull us out lives up there, and told us that the road dips below the surrounding terrain a few feet in this spot, then the snow blows across and makes it appear level. Very deceiving. No wonder we couldn't find bottom!
