So, just as the other company I had ordered them through and not gotten them after 6 weeks. The Question is. How long will they be on back order or when will your company have them in stock? I have to ask after not having a driveable truck for 7 weeks.

Please check back after 4 to 6 weeks time.

You could have gone without that "USA going to hell" comment. It was a bad off the cuff comment. If you are in need to get something expedited, there needs to be a little more gratuity on your end and the same will be given to you.

There is two things wrong in our great country right now GREED is number one and 2 is imported goods from over seas ( CHINA ). So gratuity has not one thing to do with this, but thank you for pointing this out to me.

Number 2 is a product of Number 1. And unless/until the government figgers out that "outsourcing" means "unemployment at home", it is going to continue just as it is now.

However, that is an extremely political discussion, and doesn't belong here. My bad.

not his fault the parts are on backorder... had you been more respectful, he may have tried to expedite the order for you... ive found that courtesy with those kinds of people can get you A LONG WAY!

with all due respect to you, ofcourse... just my 2 cents

Your first mistake was trying to buy something from 4wps. I sure won't. They screwed me good. That being said...

Let me state the obvious: You have a truck that hasn't been made in 10 years. You should be honored anyone still lists parts for these trucks. I can tell you if they had the parts in stock for such an old truck (yes it's considered OLD) some either returned them or didn't pick up an order.

secondly, these guys on the other end of the terminal are just underpaid cubicle rats who really don't have any control over stocking or manufacturing. They just read off another computer screen what a warehouse inventory shows. Some buyer in another office far away probably put the backorder time on there based on a communication with the maker. It's a relative amount of time based on current sales of those parts. You may have been able to get them drop shipped from the manufacturer had you asked, in a few days.
Perhaps they do not care about your feelings, but I can tell you they do NOT have to listen to any rave ups. They don't get paid enough to.
I would try to cancel the order and find your parts elsewhere, or either call 4 wps direct or the manufacturer.
In this economy, a lot of suppliers are not keeping inventory, and many producers aren't either.

I hate to wax political myself, but here's the jib. If you're gonna rave about China, outsourcing or whatever and you buy products other than groceries at places like Wal Mart or Harbor Freight tools, or have purchased anything at all based on price point not country of origin, you are not the solution, and you have no bitch.
