Anyone notice that the compass/temp thingy only goes to -40? I know it was colder than that and both rams and buddies stopped at -40.. fords went to -46 at the bottom of the driveway and -44 at the house..

Ddddddaaaaaaaaaammmmmmm thats cold. I'm pretty sure the coldest I have ever experienced was somewhere around -30... and I thought that was ridiculous. We were up in the U.P. at a buddy's cabin with the wood stove cranking, and the window next to it literally cracked from the extreme temperature difference.

We had a pipe burst night before last even though we where dripping the faucet and had a heater on in that bathroom with the cabinet doors open. It was dang cold. Water damage was pretty minimal though because we caught it so quick, even though it was 3:30 in the morning.

Also have a problem now with the pickup, but haven't had a chance to diagnose it yet. Will post about it later when I get a closer look.

No pipe wrap outside?

And it's the plenum.

Pipe wrap outside? It was the plastic pipe that goes from the faucet shutoff up to the faucet in my master bathroom. I think it was just old and crappy, and even though it didn't freeze the extra cold was enough to weaken it till it broke.

Oh, now I see which one it was. I was thinking it was the pipe that comes out of the ground before it goes into the house.

Sposed to hit 81* here in central Florida today, got a big golf tourney sunday and I'm going out for a "tune up" round this afternoon. Guys up around my small piece of farm property in Georgia ain't too happy though, 38* and raining there at 8:00 this morning.

And before y'all get jealous, cold front expected saturday here, I'm gonna have to play that tournament sunday in low 60* temps and 20+ mph winds...

It's 33º and raining here and it's going to be the same tomorrow for the first half of the day.
But Sunday it's gonna be 59º and sunny, that's good enough for golf.
