Default Brrr!

Well it was -43 here this am and the ram fired right up(plugged in all night of course). Made a few bad noises for the first 30seconds ut after that smoothed out(once she got oil pressure, and thats with 0 20w synthetic lol). Forgot to plug her in yesterday when it was -20 and wouldn't start, but an hr plugged in and again she fired right over with a few bad noises. If i sell her i will sure miss the easy cold start ups with her compared to a diesel. I may get a smaller gasser truck for winter use when its minus 40 lol. Then use the diesel more in the summer and warm winter days.

I hear you. It was -14 here today, and mine fired right up as usual. Made a few whining noises for the first 30 seconds of so, but then off to the races after that. Trans wouldn't go into OD most of the way to work because it never got warm enough, but that's ok.

We don't get quite as low as you do up there, but i remember temps like that when I was in Alaska. I can't say I miss them.

It's gonna be -40 frelling degrees here in Okie land tonight. If my power stays on I'll be golden, and a bit tanned from sexing up the 'ol woodburner (lmao). As if!
The ram will stay at the bottom of the driveway until Saturday when it's around 40 above. There's no place I need to go.

All that snow getting passed around right now and all I get is rain.
It's supposed to be 40º tonight then 71º tomorrow.
Then Thursday it's going to be 45º. You have to get used to crazy weather if you live in NC.

Its 29* right now and sleeting. Tonight it is sopposed to get up to 45* with high winds, heavy rain, and thunder. Then in the morning the temperature is sopposed to drop dramatically and start to snow. If you dont like the weather in Indiana, wait 10 minutes.

it's only gonna get to 20 below here, or so they say. It was -12 this morning when I went to bowling. The ol ram grumbled a bit till it warmed up but ran fine.

I tend to grumble a bit till I warm up too.....

Yep, southern michigan here, under a blizzard warning..... and single digit temps. And here I thought it was going to be a mild winter..... So much for that thought.
