Its been awhile since Ive really been on here! Hope everyone is doin alright and all y'alls trucks are holdin up! haha! But anyways, guess Id give all of you an update on me and my old girl.

Me: well, Im not goin back to college. That sh*t aint for me. I loved the experience but the education.... not so much. Anyways, I want to become a diesel mechanic and open up my own shop one day. Im most likely going to go to the Air Force to do that since they can pay me to be a mechanic and what not. I also want to do that for me, it sounds fun and I want to prove some people wrong. If I cant become a mechanic in the USAF(which, idk how since on all the practice ASVAB tests I have gotten 73, 85, 91, 93, 93, and a 97. so Im not worried) I'll do whatever I can do and then use them to pay for Wyotech or something like that. Or Im lookin into an apprentice program with Cat, or Wagner or any major diesel shop or what not.

My truck: is doin just fine! Just gettin the usual maintenance done one her. Shes runnin even better than the day I got her! haha! Ive been nice to her also. No more muddin! I got that outta my system. Granted I do like my truck lookin a little dirty! She looks good with a little mud on her But, Im never goin to get mud tires again! Wow do those things wear like no other! I probably will MAYBE get another 3000 miles out of em and Ive only put 5000 on my truck since Ive had it (bout to hit 98XXX!) and I cant recall how many miles were on the tires then......

Anyways! I plan on either putting 33's with 17's(I forgot the rim and tire combo but they were off road/best tire that would look good for my truck and what not) for $2500 for 5 tire/rim. But Im also thinking about lifting my truck a couple more inches and putting 35's and 18's under her. Granted I would have to buy a 5 inch lift for the lift I want. And Im pretty sure thats gonna run 3500-4000+? I havent done much research into that just because its a thought right now but my truck will be lookin real good if I can do that. But any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Pretty soon Im gonna be buying the Volant Intake and Hemifever chip. Im also gonna be puttin dual exhaust on her(Im not sure if I should do true duals or not.... opinions?). Im also going to be getting my grille guard put on with I think Hella or KC lights. Also cant forget the grille inserts! haha

After that, sometime before summer, my trucks going to be repainted since it got vandalized while I was at school. It got keyed 3 times in a week and has a dent on the hood where someone hit it with there forearm. Theres also a lot of smaller dents on the driver side and what not. Then theres where some one backed into my driver side wheel well and scraped paint off. Im not gonna lie I am pretty pissed my truck got f*cked with. It definitely wasnt the "nicest" vehicle on campus and I never messed with anyones girl sooo why me?

Its all on big work in progress. I have a lot of things I want to do to her. Like add cab lights, sun visor, chrome headache rack, replace third taillight and headlights. And then eventually get a cummins and keep this truck! That will be the day!

Im definitely goin to keep you guys updated! Im moving to Denver this week(for work since there's none where Im at) so hopefully not too soon after that I can get started with the smaller things.

Haha ya. I was rough on her. Guess I just had to get that "muddin" outta my system. Cuz I know for sure Im never gonna do that again. Granted she will still get dirty just because Ill be takin her out to the mountains and back roads but thats about it. But ya, Im pretty upset that people wanted to mess with it. Oh well.

Yup. They sure are. I honestly cant wait to see her when shes done by the time everything falls in place. Ya, all in gj man. In one single week. Like I said, idk what I did.

 

Sheesh man, it makes me mad, and it isn't even my truck! I don't care how mad you are at someone, or what they did to you, their vehicle is off limits. You can't get much lower than that imo. Someone keyed my truck too, on the passenger side rear door, so I feel your pain.

 

i agree with leaving the truck alone. if someone gets mad at me then come see me!! not my truck. if i get mad at someone i go and see them not their truck.! i'm 6'8" tall and weigh in at 300lbs. so people tend to take their anger out on my truck. they are scared i guess! LOL

Alot of people know my truck where I live so hopefully it will never get keyed cause I will find out who did it....And since my paint job, been about a month I still dont have a door marks from other people still waiting for one though and if I could notice them before I think I will be able to know so whoever gets me better be ready cause....payback is a b^tch
