i installed my mopar performace filter on the truck and it loks great and runs great. IT WAS A PAIN TO GET ON!!
now for my question.....when i do the plenum plate replacement from hughes will it make my plenum any TALLER? any at all?

reason is that i have no room for anything that will make it taller . the air filter rubs the topp of the engine compartment. it was a bitch to put on. i offset the bolt 3/4" and all that but wow it was a pain.

also.....i looked down in the TB and saw no oil. i have a modded TB coming and when i take the old one off i will look again.

 

No, fixing the plenum won't make it any taller. That plate is on the bottom of the manifold, and hides in the valley between the heads. You can't even see it under normal circumstances.

 

LMAO!!!!! when i read your answer it dawned on me where the plate is actually at!!! the question i asked might be classified as a dumb question. LOL
