Maybe Civics shouldn't stop short in front of him then.

Personally, I am of the opinion that one of these trucks with NO bumper, would still make a serious mess of a Civic.......

heh. I totaled a ford ranger with a Nissan d50 without a bumper by rear-ending it. The nissan weighs less and a ford is a bit more study than a civic. I'd hate to see the aftermath of a 1500 to civic rear.

It probably wouldn't be too bad, injury-wise. The rams bumper would ride over the top of the civics and push the trunk against the back seat while buckling the rear pillars. The front axle would contact the bumper of the civic at that point and crumple a couple crumple zones around the rear tires of the civic and at that point both vehicles would be moving about the same speed until they stopped.

Just a guess.

Yea, I suppose that it would depend on the speed of the accident. Under 30 I am sure your pretty close. Over that I am thinking that the civic gonna look like an abused tuna can.

I dont know about a ram rearending a civic, but a friend of mine drove his ford into the back of a civic and the civic was totaled and he hasnt touched his truck yet, the front bumper is dented, and the plastics are creased but it drives wihout a problem

Either that or I'd just drive over it. Hard to tell with civics

LOL

I have had this same thought many times. Alternately, you could just push them to wherever you happen to be going.

BTW: looks great
