Just remember when you go out racing ur truck on public streets...When u smash into something, you're going to do a whole hell-of-a lot more damage to everything involved, than mom's old civic. But if ur gonna roll in like vin diesel, at least wear your seatbelt. I say "roll" in cuz when u tap a curb or blow a tire doin 80,90, you'll be rollin.

Not tellin ya not to do it. Just use your head, lol.

Edit: Just thought I'd add, getting away from street racing's the whole reason I got a truck But to each their own

Not even close, maybe 250 at the crank, with a tuner, headers, CAI, exhaust, 1.7RR, ect. You need to go into the motor, cam, heads ect to get 300 at the crank.

The 1.7RR gives more total valve lift with out increasing duration therefore increasing power throughout the rpm range but especially on the bottom end. The roller fulcrum and tip will reduce friction but on a low rpm motor like the factory magnum gains will be minimal. I think it was the only worthwhile mod I did (other than plenum fix).

Don't expect any fuel mileage increases, you will just be dissapointed.

As stated above 250 sounds about right Im not looking for drag racing power just wanted to give her some extra ummff. If you are lookin at 300 hp you will be dumping stupid money into your motor. Better off going with 440 then

the truck has 230 HP stock so ur sayin ill only get 20HP with all these mods?
most things ive seen say CAI will add around 10hp.. Headers will add around 15Hp. and the tuners claim to add around 20.. i may be wrong tho not very experienced..

UP TO
Most say that just as a sales pitch. Its really hard to get that kind of power out of these motors with out going broke

You could always do a 408 and build the hell out of it thats about the only way you will get good hp
