Luke 21:10-11 Then Jesus said to his disciples: "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven." Jesus says, For behold I come quickly

haha..

Im just gonna say that the Bible has been around for what 1000-1500 years? Everyone has been saying the worlds going to end since thats been around and since humans have been walking the earth. Obviously the world didnt end during Y2K or any other time people thought it would end. And also the "2012 idea" actually happened last December. Our calender is off compared the Mayans. Look it up, seriously.

The only thing that will kill us is ourselves(war, disease, nuclear, land use(misuse of water etc.) any number of things), or a asteriod/meteor. But it hasnt happened yet and I dont think thatll be happening for a very long time. Granted there a couple close calls with a meteor in 20/30 years but thats well 20/30 years from now.

haha thank god for the History & Discovery Channel and Google(respected website, not stupid *** websites) lmao

And they can't even make their minds up about THAT. First, its a 'near miss'. Then, it will smack us in less than ten years. (Russians said that...) Then, someone else comes along and claims there is no danger at all.

Face it, if an asteroid is going to take us out, we won't know diddly about it till we see it in the sky..... (at which point, it is WAY to late.....)

As for the Mayan calendar 'ending' in 2012....... what makes theirs so special? I have to buy a new calendar every year, as the last one 'ended'.... but, the world hasn't ended yet. At least, not so as you would notice....... I think.......

Nuclear meltdown......I dont think so.....for one the design of there nuclear reactors are nothing like the ones in Russia, 99% percent of the sh^t on the news is overinflated crap.

Earthquakes and tsunami's do some damage though, and there lucky it happened in a fairly rural area.

Nahh, mega tsunami is where its at. One of the Canary islands has an active volcano on it, if the volcano has a massive eruption basically half of a mountain will slide into into the Atlantic. The initial wave would be 3,00 feet tall and travel at 3000mph but 8 hours later it would it the east coast at 150 feet and 300mph. Put N.Y. under water. They say it could happen at anytime, maybe 2012?

Physics are physics though. If you can't pump the cooling water in, it gets hotter. China Syndrome IS a possibility here, lets hope like hell it doesn't come to that.

Yes a small possibility that there might be some side effects from this....but if it was anywhere near that point the US and other countries would be taking care of it, plus all the drones we have sent over there have come back good, if it was bad every nuclear plant over here would be going crazy but there not

Boiling water reactors were never a good idea, but it's technology that ties directly into military use so it got the green light. Hmmm... General Electric... nuclear power... nuclear weaponry... civil government and defense contracts... Hmmm...

Anyway, the radioactive particles that escape from those Japanese reactors are mostly blowing out to sea, into the Pacific Ocean. Oops, that's into the food chain. The clouds that come onshore on the west coast of North America are evaporated Pacific Ocean water. Things get ugly fast if those reactors get away from them. And when the US government is publicly more concerned that is the Japanese government, that's significant. The US, after all, has the higher zoot technology required to pinpoint earthbound sources of ionizing radiation.

Hooray for lower oil prices.
