Ive noticed a lot more throttle response for sure even though everyone says they don't have any difference that's a lie. You definitely notice.

I am not saying you won't have any more throttle response. But you can get the same throttle response from air cleaner that costs 50 dollars less and does the same thing while cleaning up the engine bay.

well if you get the mopar performance one.. it really isnt much cheaper than the spectre if u look at it.. summit sells for 77 then its another 34+ for the k&n drop in.. so if u ask me for a cai for 94 shipped. is pretty damn good. my .02... and yes auto stores have 14x3 for cheap. as for cleaning up the engine bay spectre is not like k&n it doesnt take up the whole right side all the way to radiator. so it really isnt taking up alot of space. my opinion is the 14x3 just looks good under the hood any cold air intake looks good under the hood. unless u get the cheap stuff and doesnt have the heat shield box..we all can go back and forth over wut intake to buy or wut intake we should of bought but the fact in the matter as everyone has there own taste and budget!

Back to the original poster. I see you purchased a spectre cold air intake (first off which engine, year, and model dodge is it ?). Secondly I have heard people say the spectre did not fit correctly and had to do some wire splicing for the sensor and possibly some work to get the check engine to not come on. I see the spectre as a value (amazon its $122 brand new) so is it really worth it and good ??? It looks alot like an AEM to me almost identical......

this is on the dodge engines 2nd gen..spectre has a new air hat. so the problems have gone with the old air hat it was too big and wouldnt allow full throttle.. they have fixed that. as for a sensor the sensors are in the throttle body and unless u have a diff engine it does not affect are 3.9/5.2/5.9 trucks.. i can not give u any info on the new engine on the spectre. but as for 2nd gen rams with the lsted engines spectre has fixed the problems they had! and amazon has the spectre intake for 94 with free shipping of 8 days..
