Another vote against Rain-X blades. Their spray works, their blades don't. Lasted about a month, maybe, before they were junk.

I have been experimenting with different blades, cheap and expensive. I have yet to find a pair I'm happy with, just different degrees of disappointments. Maybe I expect to much out of them...

I use tue bosch icon blades. Have had no problems for over a year. Wife has them on her explorer also and likes them. Only downfall is they're about $25 a blade.

Rain-X wiperblades aren't bad. Then again, I don't get ice 7 months out of the year either.
Michelin (spl?) wipers SUCK. Between rusting and cracks, they are horrible. They don't fit very well either. I have to fight with them. Anco's and Rain-X's just slip right on.

I used to use Trico Exact Fit blades. Then got a bad batch. All of them sucked! The ones on the Dodge, my dad's S-10, and my mom's 4Runner were all junk in about a week! Then I tried Rain-X Repel blades. Best blades I've used. I dont believe in the "time release coating" crap, but they really work great. I just spray the glass treatment every time I wash the truck.

the new beam style blades from bosch, etc, work great.
expensive as hell at about $17-20 EACH, but actually worth it.
they're the best wiper blades i've ever had, and have lasted over a year.

i used to go through the anco inserts every few months and they weren't even very good to start with.

That's what I have. I like them. They've lasted twice as long as Bosch Excel and RainX blades. I tend to scrape my blades clean every now and then between my fingernails in light rain (so they're wet) too.
