Default wiper blades

Noticed a post over in the neon forum and figured id ask what yall use for wiper blades and what you think are the best. I usually use the cheapy rainy day blades(3.99 a pop) because with the dust and bad winters i end up replacing them damn near every month or two. (although i have never tried the really spendy ones i wont spend more than about 20 bucks on a set of blades) soo

What are the longest lasting blades out there?
Best priced blade(aka best bang for your buck)?
Best blade for winter?
Best blade for all year?

Anyone ever try that liquid rainx stuff? i hear lots of good things just havent tried it..

I went and bought the 25 buck, way cool, wiper blades. They were on sale, 10 bucks off each. They work excellent. I don't recall what brand they are.

Rain X is awesome, i just add it to my window wash and everytime you spray your window it reapplies it. i buy the cheapies too, -35 winters and +35 summers take a beating on wipers.

the stuff works fine for the winter, i notice that freezing spray from other vehicles doesn't stick to the window as bad.

The liquid rain-X is great, but their wiper blades fit like crap and don't last very long. I tried them for 1 season and switched back to anco's when they're on sale.

Rain X's here as well, works good for me. No -35 degree temps here though!

Currently running Peak OptiX wipers and they've been on for over a year and I am very pleased thus far. They look better than standard wipers and they dont freeze into ice cubes in the winter. But, mine are loosing their 'spring' that keeps their edges contoured to the windshield while running on the Highway. I apply Rain-X (by hand) maybe once or twice a year so I don't need to use wipers at all above 45-50 mph during most rains.

I need some new wipers and another Rain-X treatment though... Will do the OptiX's again for sure.

I do clean my wipers periodically using a cloth and rubbing alcohol to clean the wiping edge and this always improves their "wipe-ability."

I haven't had good luck with the Rain-X brand wiper blades.
