Default water for gas

my oldest son (26 year old) has made a system that plugs into the 12v outlet and puts a charge to the water that seperates the hydrogen and oxygen from the water. it is then (the gas of hydrogen and oxyegen) pipped to the intake where it is mixed with the air and fuel. he is getting double the gas mileage. he did this on a 97 ford. (300 straight 6)

anyone on here know anything about this. you tube is full of videos on this but i want other opinion.

I suppose its possible.
But it takes a hell of a lot of energy to convert water to hydrogen.
So while part of me wants to believe, I find it hard to believe that a 26 year old, that's not an engineer, could build something of this magnitude.

But by all means, prove me wrong.

I could use 20mpg right now.

What else did he change to double his gas mileage? Also, what were the numbers. Going from 1 mpg to 2 mpg isn't really much of an improvement.

Using only 12v, and the low amp draw from the cigarette lighter, I seriously doubt he is going to generate enough hydrogen to make a significant difference.

ok fellers i asked for your comments and i got them. LOL yak squeeze? LMAO

ok i took 5 stainless steel plate (20 gage) 6x3 and put a 1 x 3 x1/8 thick rubber gasket on both ends and stacked plate on top of plate with these rubber gaskets in between. i then attached a wire to number one plate then jumped it to number 3 and then to number 5. then i put another wire to plate number 2 then to number 4. i then filled a clear 1 gallon jug with water and added 2 tablespoons of baking soda. i drilled 2 - 1/4 inch holes intop of the jug lid and placed the stainless plates in the water. i pulled the wires through one hole and then attached a 1/4 inch clear tubing to the other hole. i ran the tubing to a gatorade bottle with soapy water. i attached the wire to the negative and positve of a battery. the water in the jug started to bubble like champagne. the soapy water started to bubble up. i lite a lighter and stuck it to the bubbles and POP!! all the bubles blew up.

it does not take a lot of power to separate the hydrogen and oxygen. it just takes alot to fuel a car.

my sons speedo dont work and he ran out of gas today with the fuel gauge at 1/4 tank. so his test was flawed. LMAO!!! oh well it does make a nice blue flame when you light it at night. fun to play with.
