Oh yeah. In fact, I'd let this go if it wasn't being so hard on my transmission. When it was just hunting for RPMs at idle in park, I didn't worry about it. The lack of OD, and occasional difficulty in getting to 3rd sometimes is enough to make me act. I think it also needs a fuel pressure regulator...when that comes time it WILL go to the dealer for cost effectiveness!

a bad TPS can cause surging idle/bouncing, up to 1500 rpm. mine did that a couple of years ago. it can also cause stalling.

a bad IAC can cause a too high or too low idle, also including stalling.
