The human brain starts to cook at 104..... According to popular theory.... OSHA says if the temp hits 104, you cannot legally be required to work...... Not sure how much truth there actually is to that though......

This is the 18th day of 90+ degree heat here in Indiana, breaking a record set in 1901...Crazy!

I'm ready for a damn blizzard.

How about mid to high 90s... and 80+% humidity?

I sure wish we could give some of our water to you guys in drought. We are having so many flooding issues up here in ND/SD/IA/NE/MO via the Missouri River and its tributaries.

I don't envy any of you unlucky bastards. Here in the Bay Area San Francisco, it's been between 65* and 80* at it's hottest (and I use that word loosely). Stay cool and drink lots of water.

Our forecast for this week as of yesterday

Surprisingly, we only hit 109º and it didn't feel that bad when I left work at 3:30. It was cloudy and there were sporadic showers. The Heat Dome is shifting westward toward Arizona and New Mexico.

Hey J145 - I've been telling people how San Francisco is C-O-L-D at 11:30pm in July. When I was stationed in Alameda, that mile long walk to the ship was not fun those late nights.

I'm so glad that I came home. The seven day forecast is for highs 82-88 with lows 45-48.

It has been a hot dry summer. Been doing landscaping work for some family this week and the ground is so dry ive been having to use a pick axe to break it up before moving it. The up side im way too hot and tired to eat anything big so ive been losing weight haha.
