another thing i unpluggied the mass air flow and drove it down the rode when it was cold and it didnt bog at all does that mean it bad?

It means that when it is in closed loop, something is screwing up......

Plug it back in, start the engine. Whack the sensor with a screwdriver. If the engine stumbles, sensor is bad. Of course, if it doesn't, that doesn't necessarily imply the sensor isn't lying to the ECM either......

okay im just thinkin about replacing it cause i have a good feeling it is causing the problem but on the other hand the truck is getting great gas milage and i though when they went bad it made it get bad milage?

if it started bogging when it warmed up, then something else is causing it.

Unplug the pre-cat O2 sensor, take it for a drive... see if it changes behavior.

Usually, if the MAF is bad it won't even start. Usually I said. Do you have at least a Haynes manual ? I'd look up part #'s online, to see if any other's use the same. Then head to the JY.
