i just returned from a 300 mile trip from south texas to north louisiana and i got an amazing 14 mpgs. the most ive ever gotten on the highway was 12.5 and lately ive been getting 11 highway. i bet it helped that i had a pretty strong tailwind helping me out lmao. the funny thing is i havent done anything to the truck that would affect milage except for putting on my headers, but i didnt think that running open headers would bump my mileage that much. i figured it would hurt my mileage more than anything.
not to bad i get aabout 13.5ish with my truck it has stock exhaust beside for a flowmaster muffler and gutted cat but thats nice mpg you got there buddy
i built it out of parts from a nv231j(from a wrangler iirc), a np321d(my orignal before it exploded), and a np231hd, along with a few weld beads in places these things are prone to cracking. and when i have money to have a new driveshaft built im gonna install a SYE(slip yoke eliminator)
