Re-Tread: Sizes and Treads

Have had very good success with BFG A/T's. They last for quite a while, good all around as the name would suggest. Definitely are not cheap if you are trying to get something cheaper than the Duratacs. They wear a little slower than do Duratacs, though. I have 285/75/16 BFG AT's and it does take away a little of your power. Not huge, but you can for sure tell a difference.

I'll be ordering the Wardens in 245/75/16 tomarrow. Probably order the Gaurd Dogs in 285/75/16 come spring for the summer. Spoke with them the other day and they recommend the Wardens for plowing, hauling, and towing. But I like the look of the Gaurd Dogs better, so I'm saving them for summer. The price was the biggest selling point for me. Have Nitto Terra Grapplers now. 1) I hate them, 2) $800 and change and the only lasted 1 year. I figure if I can get 1 year out of each set I'll be 2 years on only a little more cash.

Kind of off topic, but would these be worth the money?

EDIT: Placed my order today and they told me the tires were in stock but it would be 5-6 days for processing before they shipped. So, after some thought, order is getting cancelled tomarrow cuz I just ordered a set from tirerack (be here by Tuesday). My current tires are shot. Basically, I won't be able to give my 2 cents on them till spring.
