Yeah my Dad has the dual 40's on his 06 1500. It really does have a great sound. I was also thinking dual glasspacks, they give a nice deep tone but always seem like the cheap option.

That's what i'm doing. Everything has been checked and repaired, so it's time to play. The clearance lights are gonna get blacked out either way, it just looks better.

Doesn't have enough back pressure though, heard it could be bad for the truck?

Can be bad for your wallet..... loud exhaust tickets get expensive. Also kinda messes with the O2 sensors, if not located far enough up the collector...... aside from that, it actually does free up a few ponies...... no restriction in the exhaust at all..... (just get a bigger amp for the stereo.)

i beg to differ, over here in louisiana the good lookin girls wont be caught dead in a jalopy. and they dont care how fast it goes along as it looks good. which is coincedentally why nobody wants to be seen near my rig

I hear you man, I just want to get it looking the way I want too before anything though. This is my daily driver, I don't really wanna mess around with the engine performance much. Intake, exhaust and headers are probably all i'd do.

Girls love nice looking rigs, they don't understand the performance concept but the ones that do, are keepers!

Oh, and could someone please lead me to a set of black mirrors to put on my rig. I can't find any that will fit it, they all need the 'towing package'.
Again, it's a 96 1500 4x4 Sport extended cab, thanks for the help!

Update.. i'm looking at putting Black Mickey Thompson Sidebiters on my rig, I think it'll look pretty good for the sake of murdering it out. Any thoughts?
