1996 RAM input needed
Alright guys, So I just went out and bought a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 sport extended cab with the 318 5.2l v8. I'm 17 and just looking for some input on what to do with it. I personally want to black this baby out, i'm talking repaint jet black, debadge, black out clearance/tailights, buy smoked out headlights [look better than blacking out with paint], black mickey thompson sidebiters, leveling kit, 5% tint all around. What do you all think? anyone have anyother options or parts? I want this thing to look cool, appreciate all input guys!

Next , sounds good. I've always liked the look of blacked-out vehicles. Might want to look at getting '00-'01 side mirrors, their black
WOW, beat Zman. I'm impressed.

But yeah, I am looking at mirrors too, I defintely want black plastic ones. I really like tow mirrors but I feel they wouldn't look right sitting on a 1500. I'll have to check out the 00-01 models.
I'm going with the towing mirrors as soon as I can afford the extra cash for them. The body styling is the same between the 1500 and 25-3500. If you think they look good on them, they'll look the same on yours.
Yeah that's true, i'll probably end up with them haha. The main things I want to get first though are debadging it, tint, leveling kit and wheels. Spraying the clearance lights and taillights are simple tasks to do, not too worried about that.
Damn, that looks nice!
That's inspiration right there man haha
Also, what exhaust system would you recommend for this? It's bone stock right now.
I was think dual flowmaster 40's, seems like everyone has that though, What's something different that'll give it a nice loud rumble?

Nice truck(s), I would get everything mech fix first and then start to play. Those orange clearance lights just don't look right on there. You can debadge it without new paint and your paint looks good (well in the pix it does)
